WrightGuild is a membership network for trade companies in the United States. Eight tools under one login: rent out idle machines and vehicles, sell off equipment, take on shop work, bring in project partners, bid on projects, hand over a business – and take customer requests. Customer requests are one of the eight. Most of what a member earns here comes from the other seven.
We are a bulletin board, not a broker. You pay to post – what comes of it is yours. Nothing is sold on to anybody, and the same request never goes out to five companies at once.
We are paid once a year by the member company. Not per lead, not per click, not as a share of the job. That is the whole business model, and it is the reason nobody here has a reason to sell your phone number.
Eight tools, one login.
Your photos are your salespeople. A customer searches for a white oak herringbone floor, sees your work and writes to you — not to somebody off a list.
Your machines sit idle most of the year and still cost money. Offer what is free, or take on the shop work itself: the other contractor sends the material, you run it.
The flatbed in the yard, the lift used once a month. Rent out what is standing still, by the day, to contractors nearby.
The old planer, the trailer, the tools from a shop you closed. Photo in, price on it — he calls you direct. No commission, no paperwork.
The customer wants the cabinets and the tile. You would have turned that down before. Now you bring in the tile contractor and keep the job.
Requests from your area, every one confirmed by email before you ever see it. No bots, no phantom jobs, no lead fees.
Architects and general contractors put projects out for bid, with plans, trade by trade. You only see what fits your trade.
No successor in sight, or looking for a business to take over? Listed anonymously, introduced discreetly. The rest you settle face to face.
Founding membership. The first 333 companies in each state pay this one rate — for a two-year contract. Not per year, not per job. Your revenue does not matter and your number stays yours.
Once the 333 founding memberships in a state are taken, membership is priced by the company's annual revenue:
| Company size | Per year |
|---|---|
| up to approx. $250,000 annual revenue | $888 |
| up to approx. $750,000 annual revenue | $999 |
| up to approx. $2M annual revenue | $1,111 |
| up to approx. $5M annual revenue | $3,333 |
Whatever the tier, the amount is the same whether you get one job or fifty. There is no lead fee, no commission and no per-request charge on top.
Membership is open to any trade company. There is no waiting list and no cut-off — anyone who wants in, gets in.
What is limited is the founding status: the first 333 companies in each state, counted separately per state. Which town you work out of makes no difference — your state does.
Regular membership stays open. The founding seats do not come back.
At least five photos of your own work — your job sites, your shop, your hand. Not borrowed catalog shots. The photos are what brings the customers in; without them your profile stays empty and the whole thing does nothing for you.
