Here We Start
NEVADA & TEXAS
Pick your area to find trade companies near you, post a job, or just look at work that has been built.
Eight tools under one login: Matching, Equipment Rental, Fleet Rental, Marketplace, Project Partners, Customer Requests, Bid Requests and Succession. Customer requests are only one of the eight. Most of what a member earns here comes from the other seven.
By using the network. You rent out idle machines and vehicles, sell off equipment, take on shop work, bring in partners for jobs you would have turned down, bid on projects put out by architects and general contractors, or hand over a business. We take no cut of any of it.
Any trade company can join. There is no waiting list and no cut-off. What is limited is the founding status: the first 333 companies in each state get a gold tile, a badge with their number and a single payment instead of a yearly membership. Regular membership stays open after that.
No. Nobody pays us for your phone number, so nobody has a reason to sell it.
Nothing automatic. You decide whether you stay.
WrightGuild has no passwords. You log in with your personal Partner ID only. There is no confirmation email either. You get your Partner ID by clicking "Become a Member" on the home page, filling in your details and clicking "Next".
Email our support from the address you registered with. We'll call you and give you your ID over the phone.
Right after you sign up, your ID is shown once in big letters. Take a picture of it and keep it on your phone. You'll also find it in your Company Details.
After your first login, your browser remembers the device, so you don't have to type your ID every time. That memory is gone if you haven't used WrightGuild for 90 days, after 365 days at the latest, or when you clear your browser data. Then you simply log in again with your ID.
Yes. Log in once with your ID on each device. For daily work we recommend a laptop or desktop.
Never give your ID out, because whoever has your ID IS your business. Who inside your company works with it is your call.
NO. To find you in the system, your company name is all anyone needs. Whoever asks for your ID is "up to something".
Passwords get stolen, guessed and sold. That's why we don't have any. Your ID carries an encrypted signature. The only way to fake it is to have the key on our server, and that key isn't sitting anywhere it could be grabbed.
Click "Sign out" in your back office, at the very bottom of the sidebar.
Every email address can only be registered once. If you see this message, you're either already signed up or you registered at some point before.
Send us an email at support@wrightguild.com
That contractor is giving you the chance to benefit from the network too. They get nothing from WrightGuild for it. Maybe they invited you so the two of you can do better business with less hassle. Maybe they just like you and want you to benefit as well.
Three steps, then your profile builds itself: Company Details (business, address, contact), Profile Details (headline, company story, company photo, logo) and Matching Photos (photos of your own work with a description). Then go to My Profile, where you design how it looks.
15 minutes, if you have at least 5 photos of your work at hand.
Every business and every location needs its own ID. That way nobody can "game" the system.
Architects set up projects and put them out for bid trade by trade, with PDF documents. In Equipment Rental they can't list anything, but they can search.
60 days, starting the moment you receive your Partner ID.
No. Nothing is stored, there's nothing to cancel and nothing renews on its own.
Everything. All modules are open, nothing is held back.
The remaining days are shown in the sidebar of your back office.
The modules get locked and the sidebar shows "Frozen". You then have 48 hours to secure your place. If you do, everything carries on as before, your profile and listings stay. If the 48 hours run out too, everything is deleted for good: your access, your profile, all listings and your ID. There is no backup.
Not within the 48 hours. Secure your place in that time and you lose nothing.
No. You had 60 days to think it over and test the system.
Yes, but only as a message under "My Messages", not by email. If you don't log in during the last few days, you won't see it.
No. After the trial, everything you entered is deleted, completely and for good.
No. The founding spot is yours once your payment has gone through. If all 333 spots in your state are taken before that, the founding spot is gone, even if you spent weeks working on your profile. You can still become a member, at the regular price based on your revenue.
Yes - with SubWatchdog. Every trade company with a SubWatchdog business membership (subwatchdog.com) gets one year of WrightGuild free.
After you buy the SubWatchdog business membership, you receive a code by email. Redeem it on our sign-up page, save your company profile and 5 photos of your own work, and your first year of WrightGuild costs nothing.
The free year replaces the 60-day trial - it is one year, not one year plus 60 days. Places are limited in each state; the sign-up page shows how many are left.
The first 333 businesses in every state. They get a gold tile in every search (all others are gray), the EliteClub badge with their number on their profile ("Founding Member No. 7 of 333"), pay once and have a two-year contract.
That's shown in the sidebar of your back office. Every state is counted separately.
No, only your state.
$666 for a two-year contract.
It's a thank-you from WrightGuild. It's the first 333 trade businesses that get the network growing.
Being a Founding Member says something about a business: I keep an eye on the market, I try new things, I'm innovative. Founding Members don't jump on a train that's already packed.
And Founding Members are easy to spot by their profile and their photos.
Two years from the day you pay. If you have a free year through a SubWatchdog code, the two years start the day after your free year ends - you lose nothing.
Membership stays open. From number 334 in your state on, the regular membership applies: yearly, with the price based on your annual revenue.
In brackets based on annual revenue. You pick your bracket yourself. We do spot checks.
Write to our support and we'll sort it out personally. As a general rule: WrightGuild is built for the trades, not for big corporations.
The founding price is fixed. What matters to us: a trade business with up to $750,000 in annual revenue stays under $1,000 a year. At least through 2030.
No. No fee per request, no commission, no share of the job. The fixed amount is all there is.
Your number is yours forever, even if thousands join after you.
By credit card through Stripe. Click "Claim your seat" in the sidebar and you'll be taken to the payment page.
Credit card through Stripe only.
No. Your card details go straight to Stripe, WrightGuild never sees them. Nothing is stored for later charges.
The page shows a message and tells you that nothing was charged. You can try again. If you run into problems, send us an email at support@wrightguild.com
Normally the modules unlock right after payment. If something unexpected goes wrong, send us an email at support@wrightguild.com
That shouldn't happen. If it does, write to support@wrightguild.com and we'll refund the double charge right away through Stripe.
No, neither in full nor in part. The reason: you get 60 days to test before you pay a cent, and nothing renews behind your back. The exception: if WrightGuild shuts down the platform or ends a membership through no fault of the business, you get back the share for the time you didn't use.
The invoice comes from an Austrian company, without sales tax. According to the contract, taxes on your side are your own business.
In the sidebar of your back office under Personal, "My invoices". All your invoices are there as PDFs to view and download.
The invoice goes to the details in your Company Details at the time of payment. Enter the right name before you pay. If the invoice has already been issued, write to support@wrightguild.com
The end date is shown on the renewal page and in the sidebar of your back office.
No, never. There is no subscription.
7 days before your contract ends, renewal opens by itself and a notice appears in the sidebar. The new term is 12 months, added straight onto your old end date. So you don't lose a single day, even if you renew a few days early.
Only from 7 days before the end.
Your access is locked, but your data is kept for a while. Renew within that time and you lose nothing. After that, it's deleted.
Yes, on the last day as a message under "My Messages", not by email. Plus the notice in the sidebar from 7 days before.
Your business has been suspended. Renewing is no longer possible then. Write to our support and it will be sorted out personally.
You can leave any time, but without a refund. There's really nothing to cancel anyway, because nothing renews.
In Company Details.
Your trade is only shown in Company Details, you can't change it there.
Your email address is only shown in Company Details, you can't change it there. To change it, send us an email from the address you registered with: support@wrightguild.com
No, that field is optional.
No.
Your profile has a "Get in touch" button. The customer writes what they need, enters their ZIP and email address and confirms through a link in an email. Only then does the request land with you under "My Messages".
Under My Profile you'll find the Workshop. There you can choose the color, the headline color, the position of logo and headline, and the fonts. The preview changes right away, nothing is final until you click "Save".
The headline has up to 80 characters and sits big at the top of your profile ("your most important sentence"). The company story has up to 600 characters: how your business got started, what you stand for, what sets you apart.
What you offer besides your main trade. Every service you check shows up as its own box on your profile. It's information for customers who have already found you, it doesn't change the search. The page says it plainly: only check what you really do.
Through trade, distance and the descriptions of your photos. Good photos with good descriptions get found more often.
The order comes from distance and trade, never from payment. There are no stars, no rankings and no bought positions.
Under Personal, "Download your logo". Your personal profile link is right there.
No. Ratings are worthless and get used as a weapon, for example by jealous competitors. What are ratings really worth anyway? One person gives one star, the next gives five, for the same job. What do you know after that? Exactly: nothing.
We recommend at least 5. From there on, "a profile carries itself". Nobody counts them.
Up to 10 photos with "Use on profile" checked.
There's an example on the Matching Photos page. Describe what you see: material, workmanship, style, size. Write the way a customer would search. So not "table" or "photo7.jpg", but something like "Dining table in solid walnut with live edge". Others pay Google for every click. Here, well-described photos work for free, and you save money on Google Ads.
Photos as JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 5 MB per image. PDF documents for bid requests up to 10 MB per file.
In the Marketplace, large images are already shrunk in your browser so they get through even on a weak connection. Unless someone in your basement is pedaling a bike to keep the internet running, uploading shouldn't be a problem.
No. According to the contract, only your own work, or work your customer has agreed you may show. No stock photos, no other people's work, nothing from the internet. As the contract puts it: this is the one point that gets expensive for both sides, and we don't let it slide.
According to the contract, only if the person hasn't agreed. With their consent it's fine.
You do. WrightGuild may only show them on the site and in search results, as long as they're online. They're not passed on to anyone and not sold.
On the Matching Photos page, move your mouse over the photo. "Change" uploads a new photo over the old one, the category and description stay. "Delete" removes it. After swapping a photo, check that the description still fits the new one.
We recommend a PNG with a transparent background.
No, photos are optional, up to 3 per listing. But one photo saves you questions on the phone. In the Marketplace, up to 5 photos are possible.
After the trial, the modules are locked until you've secured your place. You can see what a module does, but you can't search or post anything.
Until the date you entered under "Available through". After that it disappears from the search, but stays under "My Listings" for another 30 days. During that time you can extend the date. Otherwise it gets deleted.
Everything you have running is under "My Listings". "Edit" takes you straight to the right module, with the form already filled in.
Your search gets saved. As soon as someone posts something that matches, you get a message under "My Messages", once a day. "Stop" ends the saved search. This is available in Equipment Rental, Fleet Rental and the Marketplace.
The page suggests widening your search radius.
From your own business ZIP code.
No. No money runs through the platform, no commission, no middleman. WrightGuild is the bulletin board, not the dealer.
"Pick it up": The machine leaves your yard, the other business picks it up and runs it themselves. "I do the work": The machine stays with you, the material comes to you, and you do the work yourself.
No. Without a price, the listing says "Price on request". If you give a price, you choose per day, hour, week or job.
That's between the two businesses. When a Ford and a Chevy crash into each other, you don't run to the two car makers either. They didn't cause the accident.
Yes. Vehicles are always for pickup, the other business does the driving.
You state whether a commercial driver's license (CDL) is needed for the vehicle: yes, no or not specified. You can also enter payload in lbs and model year, both optional.
That's between the one renting out and the one renting. WrightGuild has nothing to do with it. You settle EVERYTHING between yourselves, the way business people do. WrightGuild doesn't get involved anywhere, it just provides the platform.
Under "My Listings" you'll find "sold", "list again" and "delete".
No, the Marketplace is business to business only. The buyer contacts the seller directly.
"Looking": I have a job and I'm looking for another trade to go with it. "Offering": I'm offering myself as a partner to others.
The module gives advice between colleagues, not rules: the cleanest way is for each of you to have your own contract with the customer. If you work as a sub, know your lien rights and their deadlines. A referral fee goes on paper in two lines, amount and date. And: whoever cheats a partner is out.
If we get too much negative feedback about a business, we'll look into it and decide whether it can stay with WrightGuild or not. We have values, and they're there to be kept.
You only see bid requests for your own trade, within range of the job site.
Directly to whoever posted the bid request. The contact details are on the card, and you can download the documents.
First set up a project, with a description and the address of the job site. Then one bid request per trade: pick the trade, set a deadline, upload the PDF, done.
The job site, not your office. That decides which businesses see the bid request within their range.
Contact details are unlocked once you've secured your place.
Yes. Every customer confirms their request through a link in an email before it reaches you. No bots, no fake jobs.
At WrightGuild, the tradesman is supposed to make his money through the network. We're not looking for homeowners with a dripping faucet who post a request to find out what it costs, while the tradesman pays for the privilege. That's also why we don't charge for leads: we can't control what a customer really wants. Sometimes customers just want information, nothing more.
According to the contract, you're not obliged to make an offer or take the job. But the FAQ says: answering is part of the code of honor every member signs.
The customer chooses who to contact, up to 5 businesses. A request is never sold to five businesses.
The customer decides. On the home page they enter their ZIP code and a distance, and they only see businesses within that range. So a request reaches you when your business lies within the distance the customer picked.
Yes. The listing appears anonymously and everything is handled discreetly. There are no prices, contracts, documents or ratings on the platform. The rest you settle in person.
The description has up to 600 characters, "nothing sensitive". Profit figures don't belong in the listing. Whoever wants to know that should ask the owner.
The interested party leaves a message and their phone number. It arrives under "My Messages", and the owner calls back.
One business has one active listing.
That's on purpose. Everything lands under "My Messages" and a marker lights up in the sidebar. No email flood, no ten notifications a day. As the page says: "The mail doesn't come to you, you pick it up. So log in."
We don't like full inboxes either. Somebody changes a comma in their terms and you get an email: "Hey, take a look, we changed a comma." Great. Ever figured out how much time that steals from you? As a tradesman you've got better things to do than sort through that junk.
The page recommends once a day, then you won't miss anything.
Confirmed customer requests are deleted automatically after 90 days.
It shows that something new is waiting under "My Messages".
Under "Invite a Partner": enter the company name, email address and trade, plus a personal line if you like. The invitation goes out under your name. WrightGuild recommends starting with the two or three businesses you're on the job site with all the time anyway.
5 per day.
The business is already a member, has already been invited by someone else, or has opted out of invitations.
A badge for your own website that links straight to your WrightGuild profile. It helps Google find your profile. It's optional: no deadline, no penalty, nothing gets switched off. WrightGuild checks now and then and reminds you about it.
Download the image, put it on your own server and add the ready-made code. Best on your home page, 200 pixels wide is recommended. As the page says: two minutes for whoever runs your website.
Only what the site needs to work. No selling, no advertising, no profiling, no trackers, no investors. Membership fees are our only income.
Other members see it on your listings in the modules.
There's no delete button. Write to our support. After that, everything sits in the trash for 30 days and is then deleted for good.
Within the 30 days in the trash, yes. If you didn't pay after the trial, everything is deleted for good, without the trash.
Yes, as long as tax law requires.
A single one, for members only, so your device is recognized. It contains neither your ID nor any other data. No cookies for statistics or advertising.
Only to check that the link to your profile is still there. Nothing else from that visit is stored.
No, and the site says so openly. Every business vouches with its own name for its own details: that they're true, that it has the license and insurance it needs, and that it does the work it says it does.
According to the contract: advertising to or selling to other members, collecting data from members or customers, passing your ID to anyone outside, running several businesses or locations under one ID, entering someone else's business or trade, contacting customers unsolicited, anything illegal.
Yes, for serious violations: false details, other people's photos, misuse of data, anything illegal. Where it can be fixed, you get the chance to fix it first. There's no refund in that case.
No. What two parties agree between themselves is their business. WrightGuild is not part of it.
Email our support: which work, where it shows up, your contact details and a statement that you hold the rights. WrightGuild removes violations right away.
Yes. WrightGuild costs the customer nothing. There is no fee, no account required to send a request, and nothing is charged to you at any point.
Check your inbox first. We sent you an email with a confirmation link. Your request only reaches the company once you click that link. That is what stops anyone from sending requests in your name. After that, give the company 24 to 48 hours. The people on this platform are working tradespeople, most of them on a job site, not at a desk.
No. Your first request through WrightGuild is an introduction, nothing more. A contract only exists once you and the company have agreed on the work, the details and the price, and that contract is between the two of you. We are not part of it.
First, make sure you clicked the confirmation link in our email. Without that click, the company never received your request. If you did and you have heard nothing after three business days, write to office@wrightguild.com. We will follow up quietly on your behalf. Answering people is part of the Code of Honor every member signs.
Then write to us. A human will answer.
